For the 117th year in a row, Morgan Hill celebrates with its July 4th parade down Monterey Road and Main Ave., followed by fireworks at Morgan Hill Community Park. The parade starts with vintage and collector cars and continues with marching bands, youth groups, horseback riders, fire trucks and brightly colored floats -- all decked out in honor of the event theme, “America the Beautiful.” Other events today include a family bike ride, 5K run, one-mile walk and pre-fireworks entertainment at the park. 8am runs, 8:30am rides, 10:45am parade, 6pm pre-fireworks show and roughly 9pm fireworks.
