With activities starting at 10am, traditional and modern Irish music with Dublin born Martin L and South Bay's The Crubeens will warm the stage for the festival headliners. Saturday headliner will see San Francisco's The Shams take center stage. The band has quickly become a fan-favorite by combining their hard rocking, punked-up beat, with masterful fiddle playing and the purest of vocals. On Sunday, no one else could better close the festival on a high note than Zoo Station. Billing itself as the complete U2 experience, the band has played over 450 shows and now flourishes a repertoire of more than 150 U2 songs. The Whelan-Kennelly Dance Academy will also perform and demonstrate the great art of Irish dance.
Corned beef, fish and chips, shepherd's pie and more will be served all day at the food and beer village catered by Irish local vendors along with a selection of premium and local craft beers. Exhibitors will showcase traditional Irish arts and crafts with world renowned Celtic jewelry and hand crafted stone. Children are not forgotten with a kids' fun zone featuring a bouncy castle, slides, face painters and more.
