Celebrate El Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) with a full day of live entertainment, cultural demonstrations, and hands-on family fun. Decorate calaveras de azucar (sugar skulls) and make other traditional and not-so-traditional crafts inspired by this festive holiday.
Schedule of events
- 11–11:15 AM: Opening ceremony led by Aztec Dancers Calpulli Tonalehqueh
- 12–1:30 PM and 2–3:30 PM: Roaming skeleton performers
- 1:15–1:45 PM: Traditional Aztec music and dance by Calpulli Tonalehqueh
- 1:30–4 PM: Ofrenda building demonstration by local artist Phyllis Carrasco
