The annual Kids Free Fishing Days is this weekend (May 7-8) at the Campbell Percolation Ponds, Los Gatos Creek Park.
Kids 17-years-old and younger fish free and adults are welcome to attend. Bring your own rod, reel, and bait. The ponds are stocked with trout. Kids who catch specially marked fish will be awarded prizes.
Even though the fishing is for the kids, the whole family can enjoy the event. Bring a picnic lunch; also, there will be hot dogs and sodas available to purchase.

The Fujitsu Planetarium. Family Astronomy Shows, Laser Shows, Light Shows, Field Trips, Gift Shop and Party Rentals. Located at De Anza Community College in Cupertino. Minolta Planetarium, Infinium S, Star Shows. Beatles, Hendrix, Doors and Pink Floyd laser shows.
Community Education oversees the school field trips to the planetarium and weekend public shows as well as many special events. About 30,000 community members, including students from pre-school through high school, attend these shows and events every year.
It is the largest school Planetarium west of the Rocky Mountains and since our recent renovation it is one of the most modern Planetariums in the world.

The De Anza Flea Market began as a small effort by the students of De Anza College to raise money for the student body over 30 years ago and has grown into an established community event attracting vendors and patrons from throughout the state. The De Anza Flea Market is still a student enterprise with the De Anza Associated Student Body paying for all of the expenses and gaining approximately $300,000 annually for a variety of programs, services and events at De Anza College. The De Anza Flea Market contains about 825 vendor stalls and usually sells out very quickly. If the weather is good the Flea Market will typically draw approximately 15,000 to 20,000 shoppers.
