The Cupertino Chamber of Commerce and its Asian American Business Council (AABC) is proud to present its 12th Annual Diwali Festival of Lights on Saturday, September 27, 2014. This year we are presenting a new expanded entertainment program from 10 am to 5 pm. This FREE event brings over 12,000 people to our beautiful Memorial Park, (Stevens Creek Blvd/Mary) in Cupertino, and is a showcase of multicultural music, dance, fun kids zone, workshops, arts and crafts, fun, frolic and food. The purpose of this festival is to get together and celebrate intercultural understanding that promotes economic prosperity.

The 2014 chalk art/art festival will kick-off on the morning of Friday the 19th.  On Friday, we highly encourage all chalk artists to start on their murals. The festival main event is scheduled for Saturday, September 20th from 10am-5pm! This is a RAIN OR SHINE EVENT!!!  Yipee!!!

The outdoor El “Grito” brings families and friends together to enjoy a fun-filled afternoon/evening in San José. The Festival will feature two stages with live music and entertainment from local and national mariachi, folkloric and band groups as well as many other acts will take place at Discovery Meadow. Expected attendance will be approximately 5,500-6,500.
The Mexican Independence is celebrated annually to remember the bravery of Miguel Hidalgo. To this day, the church bell that was used 203 years ago hangs in the National Palace in Mexico City and is rung at mid-night of 15th September each year by the President of Mexico.

The Fiestas Patrias “El Grito” Festival, will showcase a multi-cultural selection of food vendors, as well as cultural, local community service, business vendors placed throughout the festival area. (See attached park map layout). Epicentro Advertising, Marketing & Production, under the direction of Maria F. Schabbing, has presented event productions services to chambers of commerce, merchant associations, and various city agencies, corporations and non-profits throughout the Bay Area & Northern California for the past 25 years. Partnered for this event is the local non-profit, Teatro Nahual. Proceeds from this event will support youth dance/theater scholarships and future cultural programs

Headline performances by international recording artist Kristine W, RuPaul’s Drag Race favorite Raven, chart-topping rap artist Cazwell, Deepa Soul, Movin' 99.7 DJ St. John, DJ Matth and many more. The festival features local and national entertainers, vendors, food and fun!

For almost 40 years Silicon Valley Pride has honored the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender community and its allies. Held annually, festival attendees come from all over the Bay Area to participate in the festival and related events. It is the largest LGBT event held in the South Bay and each year thousands of guests attend.

Welcome to the Largest Annual Antique Auto Show on the West Coast!
Join us for the 14th Annual Antique Autos in History Park presented by the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club and History San José. This event fills History Park with 200 antique autos, fire equipment, bicycles and motorcycles of all makes and models from the late 1800s to 1945. Kids will especially enjoy building and racing their own race cars.
In addition, our trolley will be running and you will be able to see demonstrations at the Print Shop. Visit the Fruit Barn, Umbarger House and One Room School House, and take in our two exhibits at the McKay Gallery at the Pasetta House, and the Arbuckle Gallery at the Pacific Hotel.
Peggy Sue’s will offer food for sale, as well as O’Briens Candy Store & Ice Cream Parlor.
