Saratoga Mountain Winery, Saratoga Ca, The Moody Blues, May 27, 2011
Welcome to The Mountain Winery in Saratoga, California. We are dedicated to preserving the Mountain Winery's history and restoring the property to its magnificent glory for the enjoyment of all. We are very proud to continue the tradition started by Paul Masson, and our committed team takes personal pride in creating innovative and memorable experiences for our guests.
The Mountain Winery is privileged to provide an incomparable setting for a wide variety of events, including weddings, corporate meetings, dinner parties, concerts, and holiday parties. We have impressive vistas, with landscaped gardens and redwood groves encircling our terrace, resulting in an ideal outdoor venue. Events hosted indoors amid oak casks in the historic stone-masonry Winery Building. Both offer a wonderful environment, unique from any other in the valley.
For the annual summer concert series, our historic Winery Building, with its intimate ivy-covered stone structure, engenders old world ambiance and provides a dramatic stage backdrop. This intimate setting ensures an exceptional experience for our star performers and guests alike.

Since they first hit the rock scene with the release of their monumental 1967 album DAYS OF FUTURE PASSED, The Moody Blues have continued to produce music that bridges the gap between classical and pop-rock genres without ever wavering in their integrity and commitment. Featuring the altruistic inflections of guitarist/vocalist Justin Hayward, bassist/vocalist John Lodge and drummer Graeme Edge, The Moody Blues’ sound has held its ground with exquisite harmonies over and over again, in a genre of music that is ever-changing. Since their formation in England, The Moody Blues have created music time and time again that offers rock music a depth that is unprecedented and inspiring.
