Los Altos Art and Wine Festival 2011

The highly-rated Arts & Wine Festival showcases the distinctive works of artists and craftspeople from over a dozen states. The Festival also features select vintages by the glass from local wineries as well as a wide variety of foods including Thai, Chinese, Mexican, All American favorites like sausages, hot links and roasted corn, sweets of all kinds, and more.

Enjoy our day long free concerts from performers such as Double Funk Crunch, California Beach Boys, Debbie Thacker, and The WoogieMen.

The Festival is a great event for the whole family with a large selection of rides, activities and entertainment for children all weekend in the Kidzone.

Los Altos' reputation is eclipsed by that of the bigger Bay Area cities. That it is Jim Morrison's city of birth is one of its few claims to fame. The city is mostly quaint and quiet. Besides its close proximity to a major fault line, the only event other than an earthquake that is guaranteed to get things in Los Altos moving is the Arts and Wine Festival. Los Altos is an ideal place to host such a festival. The downtown area is easy to navigate and easy on the eye. The main thoroughfares are tree lined and shaded from the hot California sun. The festival takes place in July, one of the hottest months in California, so some solar respite is always a bonus. The event attracts people from all corners of the bay on the 11th and 12th of July. Local wine merchants save their most special elixirs for the festival, live music plays throughout the day, and artists take to the street and sell their pieces and wares. The event packs the streets to the brim, so it's best to get there early
